Luang Prabang - Mount Phousi byMegan

So everyone, yesterday we arrived in Luang Prabang, our first stop in Laos. It was dark when we arrived so we didn't see much:) Although it was dark, we could tell it was a lot quieter than Hanoi. we are staying in a guest house that own two lovely dogs, but we have been told to stay way from animals in Asia :)
Today we went for a walk up Mount Phousi:

At the top my dad was talking to a !! monk!! who wanted to practise his English.

On the way back down we saw lots of statues:

I enjoyed the walk although I got very thirsty and hot in the process!
