Hanoi by Megan

We flew to Hanoi this morning. We started to get a taste of the traffic in Hanoi in our taxi from the airport. None of the drivers stop for anyone or anything. Some of the drivers had loads of boxes strapped onto the back of their mopeds. We went for a walk this afternoon and everyone seemed to be trying to sell us things. Trying to cross the road is scary because there is loads of traffic and there are no crossings - you have to just look for a gap (!!!) and go.

We went to see a water puppet show. Some dragons spat fire and water. It was awesome!!




When we got out it was dark, which was strange as it was still really warm. It took a while to find our way back to the hotel as all the streets look the same.

    Hi Girls, lovely to hear from you and it sounds like you are having a great time already! Tell your dad to "man up" about the cable car - I mean how scary can a glass bottom ride be! (VERY!!!)
    Please keep posting the pics - they're great - tell your mum to get herself on some too. Take care with those mad drivers... they sound bonkers!
